Matt Keating (he/him) serves as Eugene City Councilor, Ward 2, and Policy Advisor for Oregon State Senator James I. Manning, Jr.
Locally, Keating is chair of the intergovernmental Human Services Commission, City Council Vice President, and Council liaison to the Lane Regional Air Protection Agency.
An officer of the Democratic Party of Oregon, Keating also serves as a member to the Democratic National Committee where he is active on the Environmental Council, Western Regional and LGBTQ Caucus.
Keating’s extensive campaign experience stretches from coast to coast as he has worked with CREDO’s Campaign to Take Down Allen West (FL), MoveOn.org’s Run Warren Run (IA), Democracy for America’s healthcare reform campaign (OR) and DFA’s state senate and gubernatorial recall campaigns (WI).
