In addition to his work with DMO, Dan has served as a City Council Member in Winston-Salem, NC, since 2001. He is a past member of the National League of Cities (NLC) Board of Directors and past chair of the NLC Large Cities Council. Dan has served on the NLC Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Policy and Advocacy Committee, and now serves on the NLC Transportation Infrastructure and Services Steering Committee. He is a member of the State Executive Committee of the North Carolina Democratic Party.
